The Manorhamilton One Act Drama Festival returns to The Glens Centre for its 31st year on November 13th to 15th. Over three nights, nine different drama groups compete to qualify for the One Act Finals, and 1 Open and 1 Confined group are crowned the “All Ireland Winners”.

From laugh-out-loud comedies to heart-wrenching tragedies, you can expect a dynamic range of performances. There is something for everyone on each night.

Manorhamilton One Acts has a long tradition within the National One Act Circuit. Founded in 1995, it is proud to support local and national drama groups. Over the years, we have hosted multiple All Ireland-winning groups and plays written by award-winning new writers.

We are proud to announce the return of Walker Ewart as our One Act adjudicator. He has extensive experience in adjudicating both one-act and full-length festivals on the national and international circuit and has adjudicated a number of All Ireland finals, as well as British and European finals.

Walker is the senior adjudicator for the New Writers Award competition. Everyone is grateful to the Ramor Theatre, Virginia, Co. Cavan, for their generous sponsorship of the competition, which gives new writers a wonderful opportunity to showcase their work.
