Soham Rahauses wonderful sounds as a conduit to understand life beyond the experience of the senses within the human body, delving deeper into it in search of the very essence of spiritual experience. ‘Baul’ and ‘Sufi’ philosophy imbue this search with powerful meaning in his quest for this quintessence of existence. His ongoing practice of music with the mystics whose poetic symbolism evokes a transcendental reality of life, continues to actively influence his artistic impulses. Lived and imagined experiences come alive in his music.
