Ever thought of a career in animation? Irish animation is growing fast, and shows no signs of stopping. This three day workshop in July, with award-winning animation director Fergal Brennan is your chance to have a go.
On Days 1 and 2, you’ll work in teams to colour a sequence of animation by hand, and learn to experiment with different techniques. On day 3, you’ll use these new skills to create your own animation loops on paper, then photograph them for a mini-screening in the Glens Centre. You will learn valuable skills in visual storytelling and digital media production in a workshop about teamwork, communication, and creative problem-solving, as you bring (your) animated ideas to life.
