The Glens Centre presents a one-off screening of this Oscar-nominated Irish feature film. The film, based on Claire Keegan’s novella Foster tells the story of Cait (Catherine Clinch) who is suffering from neglect and is sent to her better-off aunt Eibhlín (a career defining performance from Carrie Crowley) and her husband Seán (Andrew Bennett). Cáit’s arrival brings up for them an unspoken pain which, with Cáit’s presence, begins to heal.
