Our latest collaboration is The Adventures Of The Wet Señor, based on the experiences of Spanish Armada survivor Captain Francisco de Cuellar in the Glens of North Leitrim.
The Adventures Of The Wet Señor was awarded a Project - New Work grant by the Arts Council in 2009. This facilitated a 30-minute showcase presentation in The Glens Centre in December 2009. The showcase featured members of Kíla including Dee Armstrong and the three O Snodaigh brothers Rossa, Colm and Ronán, actors Jaimie Carswell, Sorcha Fox and Donal O’Kelly, and designer Tom Meskell, and was directed by Raymond Keane and Donal O’Kelly.
As a result, Benbo Productions applied for and were granted an Arts Council Theatre Project grant in May 2010 to develop a full-scale production of The Adventures Of The Wet Señor, as well as receiving support from Foras na Gaeilge and Leitrim County Council Arts Office.

Acting Workshop
Donal O’Kelly facilitates the Glens Acting Workshop on Monday nights in the Glens. The Glens Acting Workshop presented their first theatre-piece "Goloshes", inspired by James Joyce’s The Dead, to mark Bloomsday 2010.
The Glens Acting Workshop will resume in Autumn 2010.
