COMPANY CIRQUE DE LéGUME PRESENT LE CABARET OUBLIÉ
Wed 10th July | Iúil 10
With Jaimie Carswell, Ed Hicks, Pablo Ibarluzea Directed by Alexander Kipp
Step into the mad world of Le Cabaret Oublié!
From the team behind the multi-award winning Cirque de Légume comes another adventure in the comic absurd with Le Cabaret Oublié!
Ringleader, maestro, and boss Chauncy has a vision: to create a show dedicated to the lost art of the cabaret. But the idiots he works with have other ideas. In Le Cabaret Oublié we join this family of clowns on a spectacular voyage into the absurd. From music, to dance, to song, storytelling, theatre, and magic - these hopeful fools put their hearts on the line to create the Show of All Shows!
An immersive underground cabaret experience, Le Cabaret Oublié is a clown show torn from some dusty basement in Pigalle and delivered to your doorstep for your enjoyment!
Le Cabaret Oublié is a world premiere developed exclusively at the Glens Centre, Manorhamilton and performed at the Glens Centre and at the Hawks Well Theatre as part of Cairde Festival, Sligo
8.30PM Adm: €15/12
Created by graduates of the Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris and funded by the Arts Council of Ireland Project Award for Theatre.
