The Banbha Quartet

The Banbha Quartet is a new Irish string quartet made up of four of our finest chamber musicians.

As part of the National String Quartet Foundation’s celebration of the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth, their programme includes two of Beethoven’s renowned string quartets: the gentle and subtle Op.18 No.3 in D major, from 1800, and the first of three quartets commissioned in 1806 by prince Andrey Razumovsky, the Russian ambassador to Vienna, the epic F major quartet Op.59, No.1.

Tickets are €17/€15 and can be purchased by calling from 071 985 5833.
