Mayo, who by a simple twist of fate, survived the sinking of the Titanic, when offered the last place, on the last lifeboat to leave the stricken ship. We follow Anna Katherine Kelly’s story, post her arrival in NY and on to Chicago, where the struggles and challenges that she overcame remind us of the singular woman she was.

SUNDAY 17th May
“The Housekeeper” The story of the “Live in maid”

Audiences are loving Maura Logue’s original “tongue in cheek” story “The Housekeeper,” offering an authentic Irish story telling experience. Written, produced and performed by Maura and her partner, composer and guitarist David Ison, The Housekeeper opens the door to memories of a time in Ireland we all share, a time when the power of stories, music and family was looked for and loved.
In this powerful solo performance Maura brings her character Aine Mc Bride, the “Live In” housekeeper, to life. Presented in true Irish story telling fashion, Maura’s Aine, lets us into her life, fills us with her hopes and dreams and thrills us with the pain of lost love.
Accompanied and complimented by David Ison’s sensitive, uplifting guitar and wonderful vocal stylings, The Housekeeper is a seamless hour of storytelling perfection, guaranteed to open your heart and touch your soul.
