
The Across the Lines I AM FROM Exhibition travels to Enniskillen. The Exhibition which includes portraits, the ‘Everyday Heroine’ film-poem and and the poem booklet ‘The rest of the Story’ all of which were written or made by men and women in North Leitrim and Fermanagh (as part of the Across the Lines outreach programme) has opened in Enniskillen Island Town Creative Shop , 1 Paget Square, Enniskillen. The creative space is being programmed by the Big Telly Theatre Company and The Glens Centre is delighted Fermanagh Omagh Council and the programmer Paddy McEneaney (a Manorhamilton man) has included I AM FROM Exhibition in the programme. The I AM FROM is now opened and is available to view until the 21st Sept, and it will also be available for vieiwng on Culture Night.
North Leitrim Mens Group, Belcoo Men’s Shed, Enniskillen and Lisnaskea Men’s Shed and meeting together in Ennsikillen on Fri 13th Sept at 11am to launch the Exhibition and other Men’s groups in the area are invited to drop-in on Fri am. The groups will also begin the design their next cross border project (Across the Lines IFI) which will result in a short campaign video on the benefits of mens groups, facitiated by Joel Smyth (NLMG) and community film-maker David Spence.
